Disrupting Japan’s traditional insurance industry – ApéroTalk with Kazy Hata
We’re extremely happy to welcome Kazy Hata, founder and CEO of justInCase, the Japan’s first fully licensed insurtech startup!
Last Summer, justInCase launched its first product, a patent-awarded AI-based insurance app that concludes all the application and claims process on smartphone, which is the first in Japan.
After spending 15 years as an insurance product development and risk management professional, Kazy launched the company with the vision to change the insurance industry, and won several industry awards already, including the 1st prize at the Tokyo Financial Award hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Kazy will share with you his experience and passion, how he created his first demo app by himself, how he got the first funding from a VC, how he struggled through the licensing process, built the team, and what challenges and opportunities he sees ahead.
ApéroTalk is our event series based on a very simple (and very French) concept: Apéro and Talk.
• 7:00 pm – Doors open
• 7:30 pm – Talk and Q&A by Kazy
