While AR & VR applications are becoming more present in our daily lives, from Oculus to… Pokemon Go, most of us still feel that Augmented Reality technologies are out of reach.
If you’ve always wanted to experience and build things in VR / AR and to make a first step in this field, this workshop is for you!
Our objective will be to build a small web AR game: we will start with simple digital cubes and spheres, and then move to more complex objects (including anime characters!). We will then show you how to make them move and interact with us in real life.
– Quick introduction to AR and VR
– Use a simple JS library (A-Frame) to build AR objects
– Create a small web AR game
– GitHub account (to be able to fork a boilerplate)
– Sublime Text (https://www.sublimetext.com) or any other code editor installed on your computer
– Git & Node.js installed on your computer (https://nodejs.org/en/download/)
